This is our bronze coated wood top table The Shard. We combined a beautiful bronze finished irregular oak top and industrial inspired shard legs with a blackened steel finish.

Table top:
The table top is a solid irregular oak slice which we then coat in molten bronze. The real bronze finish looks and feels like a solid bronze cast. Cold to touch and revealing all the delicate natural wood markings within the cross section of oak.
Table base:
The table base is constructed from 10mm thick steel. Cut at irregular angles and positioned asymmetrically for an industrial styled look.

Shard bronze coated wood top table has a unique statement design. A mix of industrial style legs paired with a rustic real bronze veneered oak slice top. As each top is made from an irregular cut piece of oak, no two tables will ever look the same. For that reason every Shard coffee table is completely individual.
We carefully select each wooden top by aesthetic shape and natural markings to provide the best base for our molten metal application. Because of this the natural beauty of the wood grain is allowed to shine through. And this is a key characteristic of this table. The natural world blended with industrial elements.
The Shard is a statement piece and each coffee table is distinctive in form and shape.
